In the olden days, knowledge concerning anatomy was superficial at best, and the study of physiology relatively unknown. Physicians relied mainly on intuition in order to produce diagnoses. Only a few generations ago, diagnoses were based on anecdotal evidence, rather than facts. Today, with the help of CDL, providing a diagnosis is no longer a matter of chance, but of certainty. CDL, a company always on the leading edge of science, has worked diligently since 1993 to redefine quality standards, propelling it ever forward in the industry. It is no wonder that CDL Laboratories has distinguished itself so clearly from the competition. The philosophy of CDL is to offer a service of superior quality and assist medical professionals in providing accurate diagnoses, allowing each patient to receive the appropriate treatment in the shortest time possible. CDL has identified four factors which contribute to its success:
With each innovation we provide new screening tools for our clients,
which enables CDL to contribute actively to the well-being of our society.
CDL’s energetic involvement in this process has been motivated by
the desire to constantly ameliorate its performance, but most of all,
to always improve the quality of service. This philosophy has made it
possible for CDL Laboratories to become the leader in the industry.

Ever since its debut in the private laboratory industry,
CDL Laboratories selected the world leader in laboratory instrumentation,
Roche Diagnostics (Hoffmann-La Roche Division) as its principal supplier.
From the beginning, CDL Laboratories established a privileged client-supplier
relationship with Roche Diagnostics. This was a natural and easy choice
for us, since the goal for CDL was to become the leader in the private
medical diagnostic laboratory industry. Being supplied by Roche Diagnostics
would allow CDL to offer its clients and patients a technology which was
precise, rapid and of the highest quality. |

This relationship has been advantageous for both companies. CDL had always been the first private medical diagnostic laboratory to utilize the newest technology developed by Roche. Today our departments of biochemistry, serology, hematology and endocrinology are equipped with the latest generation of instrumentation from Roche Diagnostics. This mutually beneficial relationship will equally allow CDL to develop new products for Roche which they in turn can distribute to their clients. This perfect alliance between experts in their respective domains permits us to combine forces in order to better serve all clients concerned, thereby helping to improve the quality of life for patients.
CDL SOFT™ CDL Laboratories was the first private medical diagnostic laboratory in Quebec to be completely computerized and to use barcode technology to identify all of its specimens. Our laboratory has consistently invested in the creation of new methods and tools in order to offer the best possible service as well as the shortest turn- around- time in the industry. CDL has developed and initiated the use of CDL Soft, an integrated data management system designed with the goal of maximizing productivity. This software manages, among other functions, the storage, control and analysis of specimens as well as the safeguarding of all information relative to patients. This unique software was designed to meet and exceed each customer's request. CDL Soft meets the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) CFR21 part 11 standards.
CDL LINX™ CDL offers confidential and safe electronic transfer of patient results. Reports are easily viewable and printable from our exclusive CDL LinX system.
